Five Reasons to Automate Workloads in the Hybrid Cloud

Incorporating the Cloud as part of an IT operations environment can help organizations control costs and gain competitive advantage. Also, business application workload initiated by SaaS or other web applications cannot afford to wait for a system to wake up and identify that there is work to be done. While web services facilitate a bidirectional dialogue between cloud and on-premise applications, automation triggered by business events enhances IT's ability to respond to business demands.

4. High volume data processing
The Cloud is an obvious choice for resourcing the capacity to run data processing workloads. As seen in Hadoop, the exceptionally high processing demands of Big Data applications need to be broken down into digestible chunks for both on-premise and cloud servers. Organizations require an IT automation solution that can manage proper segmentation and parallel execution of these massive hybrid workloads.

5. Visibility and control of IT processes
